**Job Summary**

The Head of Tax will spearhead the tax function for a highly respected brand across Australia and support expansion into Asia Pacific.

**Key Responsibilities**

Oversee timely and accurate tax compliance for the Australian and wider region. Ensure integrity of tax filings and reporting, direct and indirect taxes across the Group.

Represent the organisation to the ATO for audits, appeals and negotiations. Develop, implement and maintain tax procedures and policies across APAC.

Engage with external tax professionals. Provide tax-effective accounting, including half-year and year-end statutory financial reporting.

**Requirements**

Candidates should possess prior experience across a broad tax and financial governance remit, as well as strong business partnering skills.

This is a hybrid compliance and strategic role that requires leadership and advice on corporate tax policy, and participation in planning organisational activities to optimise tax costs and ensure tax compliance.
