Job Description

The role of the Data Solutions Project Manager is crucial in deepening customer understanding and translating insights into tailored data-driven solutions and successful project outcomes.

This position bridges external user needs and internal capabilities—aligning customer goals across national security and Defence interfaces with organisational and technical requirements to deliver integrated, fit-for-purpose and cost-effective data solutions.

The successful candidate will collaborate with project managers and leadership to deliver customer solutions aligned with operations and strategic goals, embedding governance, ensuring data security and compliance, and driving performance optimisation.

At times, the role leads on cross-disciplinary solutions or coordinates and oversees integration activities across various specialist areas.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage science and information technology components with national and international scope.
  2. Collaborate with project managers and leadership to deliver solutions aligned with operations and strategic goals.
  3. Embed governance, ensure data security and compliance, and drive performance optimisation.
  4. Lead cross-disciplinary solutions, coordinate integration across specialist areas, and operate in an Agile environment.
Required Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in project management involving science and information technology components with national and international scope is mandatory.

A qualification in project management is also required.
