Job Title: Data Operations Lead

As a senior data operations professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of enterprise data environments.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in leading high-performing teams and managing day-to-day operations of large-scale data platforms across AWS and Databricks.

We are seeking an experienced leader who can drive continuous improvement across operational processes and deliver high-quality support services to stakeholders.

  • Lead a team of 10 data professionals and ensure that services are delivered efficiently, securely, and in alignment with ITIL best practices.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of enterprise data platforms across AWS and Databricks.
  • Implement and enforce operational standards, governance, and service management processes aligned with ITIL certification.
  • Monitor and optimise data platform performance, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Coordinate incident, problem, and change management activities to minimise business impact.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational requirements are met.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in leading data operations teams in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong expertise in AWS cloud services and Databricks.
  • ITIL certification (mandatory).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
