We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Kirinari Community Services. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities in our supported independent living accommodation settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities, including domestic and personal care assistance, and assistance with accessing community services.
  • Work collaboratively with our customers to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote their independence and well-being.
  • Contribute to a safe and nurturing environment that supports the physical, emotional, and social needs of our customers.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in disability support.
Requirements
  • Ability to work shift work, including regular sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Resilience, confidence, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screening Check prior to commencement.
  • Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software programs.
  • Current driver's license.
