We are seeking a Demand Planning Expert to join our team at a well-established industrial manufacturer.

Job Responsibilities- Demand Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to support procurement and inventory planning.
- Analysis and Insights: Analyse historical data, market trends and customer insights to refine planning strategies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure stock availability aligns with business needs.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on stock levels, identifying and addressing potential supply chain disruptions.
- Communication: Work closely with sales and marketing to understand promotions and product launches.
- Process Improvement: Review and improve demand planning processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Insights and Recommendations: Provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimisation and cost reduction.
- Tool Management: Maintain and manage key demand planning tools and systems.
- A relevant qualification in supply chain, logistics or a related field.
- Experience in demand planning within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in demand planning tools and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- A strong understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain operations.
