Navantia Australia has been awarded the Designer Support Contract to provide comprehensive design and engineering support to all Navantia-designed ships in service with the Royal Australian Navy. This landmark contract marks a significant milestone for Navantia Australia, as it is the company's first contract held directly with the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA), underscoring its commitment to innovation and excellence in the maritime industry.
Due to Navantia Australia's ongoing success, we have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join the team out of its Garden Island, Sydney and Darling Park office. Operating under the Design Support Contractor (DSC) contract, the Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analysing and improving the supply chain processes within the organization. This role involves collecting and analysing data to identify areas for improvement, developing strategies to optimize supply chain operations, and collaborating with various departments to implement these strategies. The Supply Chain Analyst will also monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collect and analyse data to identify areas for improvement in the supply chain.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain.
- Collaborate with various departments to implement supply chain improvements.
- Prepare reports and presentations on supply chain performance and improvement initiatives.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve supply chain issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
- Proven work experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
