**Job Title:** Tooling and GSE Coordinator

 

**Job Description:

The Tooling and GSE Coordinator will be responsible for the oversight and control of calibration and servicing of all Ground Services Equipment (GSE) and tooling used within our Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO). The role is critical to our business with the day-to-day operations for our AMO.

This includes the operational areas within flight line and regional maintenance activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure that all processes are carried out as per the VARA AMO MOE.

They will liaise with service providers when external equipment and services are required, manage data and actual availability of GSE and Tooling, and correspond with customers, OEMs and vendors on technical and administrative matters relating to the management of Tooling and GSE.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:*

  • Ability to obtain and hold an ASIC and Airside Drivers permit
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in aircraft maintenance and/or supply environment
  • Experience in an engineering environment in tool control and calibration procedures
  • Intermediate MS suite computer skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to write clear and concise technical instructions using technical language
  • Broad understanding of CASA and OEM regulations and instructions
  • High attention to detail and strong organisation skills
