Aviation Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Maintenance Professional to support and assist Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with maintenance tasks under supervision.

  • Assist in performing aircraft maintenance activities according to approved data and under the guidance of licensed engineers and company procedures.
  • Report any significant aircraft defects to the supervising LAME.
  • Contribute to business improvement initiatives by suggesting or supporting implementation as directed.
  • Organise and complete assigned maintenance tasks efficiently and under LAME supervision.
  • Apply technical knowledge to assist LAMEs with troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or electrical issues.
  • Work effectively within the maintenance team, following directions from senior technicians and LAMEs in a careful manner.
  • Assist LAMEs and senior technicians with investigations of aircraft incidents or maintenance issues, contributing to implementing corrective actions where appropriate.
  • Follow instructions and safety guidelines provided by LAMEs and supervisors at all times.

Our ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent, 5+ years' experience in Mechanical in a Line or Base Maintenance environment, and experience working within a Safety Management System. They should also be able to communicate effectively at all levels, possess organisational and problem-solving skills, basic computer literacy, and be customer-focused. Additionally, they should demonstrate knowledge of PART 145 regulatory framework and exhibit resourceful and lateral thinking.
