Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Alstom's Nowergup facility in Western Australia. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our trains, working closely with our production management team to meet quality and productivity standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance: Adhere to quality systems, work collaboratively as part of a team, complete tasks on time, and follow work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Fault Finding: Support fault-finding activities and carry out preventative examination works as required.
  • Reporting: Accurately report operation status, complete work checklists, and work orders with detailed information including completion times.
  • Continuous Improvement: Make suggestions for productivity improvements and maintain 5S good housekeeping in accordance with set standards.
  • Training/Agility: Be capable of accepting training in other skills and carrying out duties such as forklift operation and road vehicle driving (if certified).
Required Skills and Qualifications

Cert III in engineering (mechanical fitting), experience with mobile plant, participation in training courses, availability for call-outs, night shifts, and willingness to adapt to changing situations.
