We have partnered with a local council for an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Transport Engineer on a full time permanent basis. Base pay range

A$120,000.00/yr - A$130,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead concept design and delivery of traffic engineering projects, including intersections, cycling networks, and streetscapes.
  • Undertake Road Safety Audits, crash analysis, and Traffic Impact Assessments.
  • Manage consultants, budgets, and project briefs through design phases.
  • Provide technical advice to support capital works and development projects.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in traffic engineering, transport planning, or civil engineering.
  • Proven experience in traffic engineering design and operations, ideally in an urban or local government context in Australia.
  • Strong understanding of Road Safety Audits, TIAs, and transport design standards.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
