Electrical Engineer

Design and Develop Electrical Systems for Mining and Minerals Processing

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the overall design capability of our team. Your focus will be on project-based engineering design for mining, minerals processing, and utility sectors.

This role requires expertise in high voltage and low voltage systems engineering, including the design of Motor Control Centres, instrumentation specification, and development of design deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Planning: Design and plan electrical systems, including cable schedules, equipment lists, and instrument lists
  • Technical Documentation: Develop Single Line, Schematics, and Termination Diagrams
  • Automation: Program and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
  • Equipment Specification: Specify major equipment and write reports
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by Engineers Australia
  • 3-5 years of experience in consulting or a related field, with solid exposure to mineral processing or materials handling
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – written and spoken
