About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mergers and Acquisitions Underwriter to join our team at Howden Group Holdings. As a key member of our Mergers and Acquisitions team, you will work closely with the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions Underwriting to drive regional growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, lawyers, and third-party partners
  • Develop and deliver presentations to clients, educating them on our Mergers and Acquisitions products
  • Assist in the development and refinement of policy wordings
  • Structure tailor-made solutions by considering underwriting parameters, guidelines, and knowledge to win new business and retain existing clients
  • Maintain industry networks and analyze data for monthly business reports
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required
About You

We are looking for a self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills, a minimum of five years of Mergers and Acquisitions insurance experience, and demonstrated knowledge of client industries and businesses, as well as market knowledge of risk. You should have good interpersonal skills, a passion for excellent customer service, and a drive to build relationships.
