Security Specialist

This is a hands-on cybersecurity engineer position where you'll be responsible for monitoring threats, responding to security incidents and coaching developers on secure coding practices.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Develop and implement secure coding practices and educate developers on their importance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, tune defenses and improve the overall security posture of our applications and platforms.
- Proficient in one or more languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, C# or TypeScript.
- Experience with edge security platforms like Cloudflare or Akamai is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to detect, assess and remediate vulnerabilities in live environments.
- Understanding of web application firewalls (WAF) and threat analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and passion for coaching developers.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure is desirable.
