Key Responsibilities- Engine Diagnostics and Repair: Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on high-horsepower diesel engines, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on various engines and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Engine Reconditioning: Conduct engine reconditioning services, including stripping, troubleshooting, and rebuilding, to extend the lifespan of our clients' equipment.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all services, including service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims.
- Customer Service and Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, identifying and acting on additional service opportunities to drive business growth.
- Tool and Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and proper operation of your service vehicle and tools, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate III (Heavy Vehicle/Mobile Plant or Light Vehicle).
- Extensive experience in field service work, particularly with engine reconditioning, repairs, and rebuilds.
- Expertise in high-horsepower diesel engines.
- Strong customer service skills and experience in mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior technicians (preferred).
- A vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution is preferred.
- A valid local driving permit; licensing for export controls or sanctions regulations may be necessary.
- 15% leave loading on Annual Leave.
- Company-provided utility vehicle.
