Job Summary

CBRE is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team in Darwin, NT. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs to electrical systems, as well as installing and testing new electrical circuits and components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing preventive maintenance activities to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly
  • Performing emergency and break-down maintenance as necessary to support site operations
  • Installation and replacement of electrical circuits, components, and systems
  • Accurately using measurement and test equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Accurately completing maintenance records and other paperwork
  • Working collaboratively with the team and across departments to achieve project goals
  • Resolving operational or technical equipment problems to minimize interruptions resulting from equipment breakdowns or failures

Requirements

  • A-Class Current Australian Electrical trade qualification
  • Problem-solving and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
  • Ability to understand control strategies and systems to make assessments and recommendations for enhancements and efficiencies
  • Discipline and planning skills to implement recommendations and changes
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Hold a current Australian Driving Licence

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience as a Service/Field/Electrical technician with demonstrated experience in servicing and maintenance of technical equipment for commercial business
  • Experience with Fire/Security/Controls
