Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Meat Processing Specialist to join our team in Morningside, QLD. As a Meat Processing Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing cuts of meat, operating machinery, and maintaining tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cuts of meat to meet customer requirements
  • Bone out meat within a reasonable time frame
  • Operate machinery such as mincer and band saw
  • Clean and maintain tools and equipment
  • Weigh and pack meat
  • Assist the head butcher in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment

Requirements

  • Certificate III in meat processing
  • Relevant practical experience in butchery
  • Driver's licence with reliable transport

What We Offer

We offer a casual ongoing position with the opportunity to go permanent, working Monday to Friday from 4am to 12pm. The hourly rate is $37.50.
