The Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Supply Officer to join our team at National Capital Private Hospital. As a Supply Officer, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day supply logistics of the hospital, ensuring that all areas have the necessary materials and equipment to provide excellent patient care.

This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be able to maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with Healthscope's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by replenishing hospital imprest areas
  • Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting positive team culture and communicating effectively with other staff members
  • Maintain standards of customer service and ensure patient confidentiality and privacy are maintained at all times
  • Support Healthscope's safety and quality improvement initiatives by actively participating in department meetings, audits, and quality activities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with computerized purchasing systems (i.e. Technology One)
  • Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Medical product knowledge (desirable)
