About This Role

As a key member of the Royal Australian Army Ordnance Corps, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of supply chains across the military. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the storage, distribution, and maintenance of military equipment, from body armour to medical supplies and night vision goggles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Driving military vehicles such as trucks and forklifts
  • Selecting, packaging, distributing, and disposing of damaged stock
  • Handling, storing, and distributing hazardous materials
  • Planning inventory requirements for ordering, returning, and maintaining military equipment
  • Calculating unit resource needs and basic financial management
  • General accounting, receipt, and issue transaction duties
  • General soldiering duties, such as manning defensive positions, patrolling, navigation, traffic control, and camouflaging vehicles and field equipment

Salary and Benefits

This role comes with an attractive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, you'll receive comprehensive training, including fully paid courses in personnel, material, and financial management.
