Lead Innovator in Technologies

We are seeking a forward-thinking and visionary leader to spearhead our Technologies Faculty. As the Head of Technologies, you will drive strategic direction, foster innovation, and promote excellence in teaching and learning.

This role requires a deep understanding of Technologies education, including curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment. You will be responsible for leading teams, mentoring staff, and building partnerships with industry leaders and academia to enrich student learning opportunities.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to improve the quality and relevance of our Technologies programs.
  • Collaborate with faculty members to design and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and critical thinking within the Technologies Faculty.
  • Mentor and support staff to enhance their professional growth and development.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, universities, and external stakeholders to secure resources and opportunities for students.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in technology and engineering education to continuously improve our programs.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and the broader community to promote the importance of technology in education.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Design, Technology, or related fields).
  • Proven leadership experience in an educational institution or similar environment.
  • An excellent understanding of Technologies education, including curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and inspire staff, students, and external partners.
  • A commitment to promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience building partnerships with industry, academia, and the wider community to enrich student learning.
