About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated DVA Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals at WorkFocus Australia.

As a valued team member, you will play a vital role in the provision of rehabilitation services for our DVA portfolio, helping to build better lives for Australian veterans through a whole-of-person rehabilitation approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage DVA files within the DVA legislative framework, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Provide case management services for DVA clients, including medical, psychosocial, and vocational rehabilitation.
  • Liaise with clients, their families, and medical providers to assist veterans in transitioning to civilian life.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, or Physiotherapy.
  • Sound knowledge of DVA files and legislation, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes for DVA clients.
