We are seeking a customer-focused professional to join our finance team as an Accounts Receivable Officer.

Role Overview

The primary focus of this role is to professionally attend to internal and external customer enquiries and support various areas of business activities including payment receipting. This includes timely generation of invoices, daily receipting, processing client refunds, maintaining accurate files and records, and following-up and resolving customer queries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and verify invoice information for accuracy and completeness
  • Process payments and credits in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a prompt and professional manner
Requirements:
  • Pride yourself on delivering excellent service to your customers and have an ability to listen and communicate clearly on the phone and in writing
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of accounting concepts and procedures relevant to accounts receivable and payable
  • Showcase previous experience in a similar role; working within a team as well as independently
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all employees and external customers
  • Showcase intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Showcase experience in the aged care, disability or not-for-profit sectors is desirable but not essential
