Behaviour Support Specialist

Optimum Health Solutions offers a unique opportunity for a Behaviour Support Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing behavioural support assessments and interventions, including one-on-one support and group-based settings.

The ideal candidate will possess experience as a behaviour support practitioner or in a similar role, with a passion for helping children and adults with behavioural difficulties. You will also have the ability to effectively communicate with parents and carers, and work autonomously as part of a specialist multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioural support assessments to identify individual needs and develop effective intervention plans
  • Provide behavioural support interventions in clinic, at home, and schools
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including parents, carers, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Experience as a behaviour support practitioner or in a similar role
  • Proficient BSP registration
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Effective communication skills with parents and carers
