Motor Mechanic Position

We are seeking an experienced motor technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and vehicle systems, conducting regular maintenance and repairs on various vehicle components, and participating in 24/7 breakdown service assisting customers across Melbourne.

About the Role:

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and vehicle systems using manual and computer-assisted methods.
  • Remove, inspect, and repair engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems, and related components.
  • Replace worn or defective parts, reassemble components, and perform necessary adjustments using service manuals.
  • Conduct regular maintenance including oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, and engine tuning to ensure optimal performance and environmental compliance.
  • Rebuild and test engines and components after repair to verify functionality and safety.
  • Carry out on-site emergency repairs and assist stranded motorists across Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs.
  • Inspect vehicles and determine roadworthiness or detail repairs required to meet standards.

Requirements:
