Energy Transition Specialist

At the forefront of Australia's energy transition, we're seeking a motivated professional to lead engineering analysis and drive the growth of distributed energy resources (DER).
About the Role- Define technical requirements for DER integration, collaborating with industry stakeholders to develop solutions that support a power system with high levels of DER.
As a key player in our team, you'll be responsible for leading projects addressing power system challenges from increasing DER. This includes developing standards, ensuring compliance, and evolving behaviors to meet the demands of a rapidly changing energy landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Drive stakeholder engagement and provide strategic advice to support an integrated approach.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop technical positions on DER integration.
- Prepare reports, recommendations, and presentations that translate complex technical issues for executives, boards, and external stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor junior staff, and support initiatives under the Engineering Roadmap to 100% Renewables.
