Role Overview
In this position, you will formulate, propose, and execute a quality assurance strategy to guarantee adherence to statutory and contractual quality standards across building projects in NSW/ACT. This role is ideal for a current Foreman or Supervisor aiming to transition into quality management, or for individuals with similar experience in large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure project compliance with ISO and AS/NZS regulatory and legal standards.
- Identify, manage, and track quality objectives, requirements, risks, and issues that could hinder successful project outcomes.
- Offer guidance and support to project leadership in fostering a quality-centric culture that promotes business enhancement.
- Maintain robust risk management processes and a strong focus on quality within the workplace.
- Provide expert technical advice on quality matters.
- Ensure the workplace comprehends and fulfills its regulatory and legal obligations concerning quality.
- Lead and mentor quality personnel.
- Understand compliance and reporting protocols, demonstrating leadership in communicating requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Advanced Diploma or Lead Auditor Qualification in Engineering, Science, Building, Construction, Quality Management, or Project Management.
- Experience in a quality management capacity.
- Quality assurance expertise within the construction, transport, or related sectors.
- Proven experience in developing and managing project quality assurance systems.
