Job Summary:

Workforce Australia for Individuals is seeking a highly skilled ICT Support Officer to join our team. As an ICT Support Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ICT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining ICT Knowledge Base: Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of system documentation, procedures, and help sheets to ensure that all team members have access to accurate and up-to-date information.
  • System Security and Maintenance: Proactively monitor system security patches and malware updates to ensure that our systems remain secure and up-to-date.
  • Backup and Recovery Operations: Administer and maintain backup equipment and data to ensure that our systems are protected in the event of a disaster or data loss.
  • Issue Analysis and Reporting: Analyze backup issues and report findings to the ICT Manager to ensure that any problems are identified and resolved promptly.
  • Web and System Development: Undertake web or system development tasks as required to support the growth and development of our ICT systems.
  • Client Internet Sites: Regularly back up and manage client internet sites, ensuring that security patches for modules are tested on the test site prior to updating the live site.
  • System Monitoring and Reporting: Produce and run system and network monitoring reports and utilities to ensure that our systems are running efficiently and effectively.
  • Helpdesk Administration: Accurately administer and manage the Helpdesk system and processes to ensure that client requests are handled promptly and efficiently.
  • Client Support: Provide client support to users, ensuring that user requests are understood, properly documented, and prioritized.
  • Job Request Management: Respond to assigned job requests in a timely fashion and communicate with or escalate to other team members to optimize client response times.
