
Veterinary Hospital Operations Manager

The role of Practice Manager involves overseeing all operational and personnel matters within the clinic. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading on employee matters, including recruitment, workforce planning, rosters, health and wellbeing, recognition awards, people performance, training and development.
- Managing the financial performance of the clinic, including stock control, procurement, accounts, budgets, and profit and loss.
- Ensuring work health and safety compliance, facilities and maintenance, assets and equipment, and cleaning and presentation standards.
- Working closely with Clinical Leaders to uphold industry standards and innovation, clinical governance, and strategic direction and decisions of the clinic.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in a practice leadership or head nurse role in a veterinary or animal-related field. You should also possess strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, as well as a good understanding of people and employment obligations.
