Strategic Freight Planner

The Senior Freight Manager will play a key role in coordinating and managing the department's strategic freight agenda. The goal is to develop an efficient multi-modal freight transport system that supports Queensland's economic development.
Key Responsibilities:- Program Coordination: Develop and lead the freight program coordination function, ensuring alignment with business needs and senior management requirements.
- Project Delivery and Engagement: Support project delivery and engagement activities by establishing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and other government stakeholders on freight related program activities.
- Reporting and Presentations: Develop reports, presentations, and/or briefings on freight program, projects, and investment proposals to inform policy, planning, and investment decision-making.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate experience in establishing and maintaining productive working relationships, developing and managing programs of work, and providing written and verbal advice.
Requirements: A high degree of autonomy and ability to work independently; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
