Electrical Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and agile Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Boral's prized upstream cement business. As a key leader, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and providing hands-on guidance to a large Electrical Trades team.

About the Role
  • Manage and provide support to the electrical department to ensure performance meets safety, production, reliability, and environmental targets.
  • Ensure the full functionality of site electrical systems and carry out various electrical engineering tasks to maintain their ongoing safety and reliability.
  • Develop and implement upgrades, improvements, and capital works projects as required, and supervise electrical contractors to ensure high-quality performance.
  • Actively mentor and guide the electrical team to achieve development and performance goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer within heavy industry.
  • The ability to diagnose problems and identify potential solutions by thinking outside the box.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical standards and compliance requirements.
  • Computer literacy and sound analytical skills.
  • The ability to develop effective working relationships and lead teams.
