About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small and loyal team as a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the integrity of monthly and annual financial statements across multiple businesses
  • Analysing cash flow and providing weekly cash flow forecasts
  • Overseeing payment of suppliers and employees in line with cash flow
  • Managing customer accounts, including setup, recommendations, and debt collection escalation
  • Supplier analysis and reporting
  • Maintenance of the Fixed Assets register
  • Compilation of policies and procedures for Finance and Human Resources
  • Providing KPIs reporting on a monthly basis to the plant
  • Production costing and variance analysis
  • GP reporting and analysis
  • Providing financial analytical support to all managers
  • Payroll verification and auditing
  • Compliance with BAS, Payroll Tax, and Workcover
  • Preparation of budgets, including monthly comparisons versus actuals
  • Liaison with external parties, such as the ATO, SRO, auditors, bank, and insurance
