Senior Business Analyst for Murex Platforms

This is a senior role requiring a Business Analyst with experience in the Murex platform to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Gather and analyze business and functional requirements for Murex implementations or enhancements.
- Liaise with business users to understand processes and workflows.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the Murex platform.
- Participate in configuration, testing, and deployment of Murex modules.
- Support and troubleshoot production issues related to Murex.
- Perform impact analysis for change requests and enhancements.
- Work closely with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training and support to end users.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working with the Murex platform.
- Strong understanding of capital markets products.
- Experience with Murex modules such as Mx.3, MxML, Datamart, Simulation Views, Workflow, or Murex APIs.
- Knowledge of trade lifecycle and front-to-back trade processing.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data mapping concepts.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Murex upgrades or greenfield implementations.
- Knowledge of risk and regulatory reporting.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with integration tools or middleware.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Murex platform and excellent analytical and communication skills.
