Medical Support Specialist

As a medical support specialist with Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging health environment.
We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer for our Casual Pool at South Coast District Hospital. This role is responsible for providing high-quality administrative services to clients, staff, and visitors.
This position offers flexibility, variety, and support in a fast-paced health setting. As an Administration Officer, your duties will include reception services, admission and discharge of patients, preparing client information reports, word processing/data entry, and medical record administrative services.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a solid background working in a reception and medical records department. You should be well-organised, with a keen eye for detail, and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
Key requirements for this position include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively within a team setting and adapt to change.
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $61,172 based on 38 hours per week at $29.57-$31.81 per hour plus a 25% casual loading.
