The Pacific Systems Program Office (PACSPO) is seeking an experienced Materiel Logistics Officer to provide logistics support to the team and the broader Pacific Maritime Security Program.

As a Materiel Logistics Officer, you will be responsible for the provision of management, governance, assurance, and support to the supply chain of supported Pacific Vessels, including the Guardian Class Patrol Boats (GCPB) rotatable pool program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide governance and assurance to the management of the GCPB rotatable pool, including procurement, inventory management, and repairable item forecasting.
  • Ensure the supply chain maintains sufficient stock to meet the GCPB fleet and maintenance requirements.
  • Carry out logistics governance assurance activities in accordance with Defence policy.
  • Act as a CoA representative to the in-service Support organisation for logistics activities.
  • Be accountable for accurate completion of work within required timeframes and quality standards.

The Pacific Systems Program Office (PACSPO) has a long history of supporting the Pacific Maritime Security Program, which includes the gifting of Pacific Class Patrol Boats and the current PPB replacement program.

We are committed to providing engineering, technical, and logistics support services to ensure the ongoing operational capability of the fleet of vessels operated by our partner Nations in the Pacific.
