Compliance Specialist

Job Description:

As a key member of the team, you will provide end-to-end compliance advice, assessment, validation, and support to stakeholders. You will work closely with business units to ensure compliance with applicable laws, industry standards, and internal policy without compromising strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing proactive support to the business on prudential standards and guidance
  • Assessing potential breaches of prudential standards and drafting memorandums for decision makers
  • Working closely with the Operations Risk department and the APRA Breach Reporting team to assess events and incidents that have an impact on Compliance Obligations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience in a second-line role in prudential and/or APRA SME-related areas. A sound understanding of prudential standards, guidance, and related processes is essential. Strong stakeholder management and professional communication skills are also key requirements.
