Senior Manager, Prudential Governance and Policy
1 week ago
Are you ready to play a key role in shaping risk management and policy at BOQ Group? As our Senior Manager, Prudential Governance and Policy, you'll be the go-to person for all things prudential governance, risk policies and standards. You'll work closely with leaders across the business, supporting the Head of Risk Governance & Reporting to uplift frameworks, policies and standards as part of our Risk Transformation Program.
In this role, you'll lead the annual prudential standard attestation process, help drive improvements in policies and standards and make sure we're always on top of our regulatory obligations. You'll be advising document owners, guiding the approval and publication of policies and partnering with the Group Risk Extended Leadership Team to deliver real value across the Group. You'll also be hands-on with the CPS220 risk management declaration and play a big part in continuous improvement initiatives.
You'll collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders—from the Chief Risk Officer and General Managers to divisional leads and the regulatory engagement team. Sometimes, you'll also work with external consultants to make sure our standards are best-in-class.
You're experienced in financial services, ideally banking and you bring a strong understanding of risk management and prudential standards. You have a degree in Commerce, Business, Law, or something similar and you're known for your attention to detail and your ability to juggle competing priorities.
You're a natural communicator, comfortable preparing clear, concise briefings for senior stakeholders. You're confident with MS Office, especially PowerPoint, and if you know your way around Service Now, that's a bonus (but not a dealbreaker). Most importantly, you're passionate about uplifting processes and making a real impact through your work.
If you're looking for a role where you can drive change, work with great people, and help shape the future of risk at BOQ Group, we'd love to hear from you.
