Senior Manager, Prudential Governance and Policy

About The Role

Are you ready to play a key role in shaping risk management and policy at BOQ Group? As our Senior Manager, Prudential Governance and Policy, you'll be the go-to person for all things prudential governance, risk policies and standards. You'll work closely with leaders across the business, supporting the Head of Risk Governance & Reporting to uplift frameworks, policies and standards as part of our Risk Transformation Program.

You'll lead the annual prudential standard attestation process, help drive improvements in policies and standards, and ensure we're always on top of regulatory obligations. You'll advise document owners, guide the approval and publication of policies, and partner with the Group Risk Extended Leadership Team to deliver value across the Group. You'll also be hands-on with the CPS220 risk management declaration and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

You'll collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders—from the Chief Risk Officer and General Managers to divisional leads and the regulatory engagement team. Occasionally you'll work with external consultants to ensure our standards are best-in-class.

About You

You're experienced in financial services, ideally banking, with a strong understanding of risk management and prudential standards. You have a degree in Commerce, Business, Law, or a related field, and you're known for your attention to detail and ability to juggle competing priorities.

You're a natural communicator, comfortable preparing clear, concise briefings for senior stakeholders. You're proficient with MS Office, especially PowerPoint; familiarity with Service Now is a bonus but not required. Most importantly, you're passionate about uplifting processes and making a real impact through your work.

If you're looking for a role where you can drive change, work with great people, and help shape the future of risk at BOQ Group, we'd love to hear from you.
