Event Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to join our team at Mary Maes. This role is responsible for coordinating events in all spaces, working closely with the Venue Manager and front and back of house teams.


The Role

This is a permanent full-time position that requires operational support duties for event execution and administrative coordination, supporting senior managers. You will have the skills and opportunity to work with clients from start to event execution, ensuring seamless delivery.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate events in all spaces at Mary Maes
  • Work closely with the Venue Manager and front and back of house teams
  • Provide operational support duties for event execution and administrative coordination
  • Support senior managers in delivering events

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 12 months' experience in a similar role
  • Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation
  • A curious learner who wants to further their development
  • Ability to listen and inspire customers with the possibilities for their event experience
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Previous experience in a large catering, hotel or corporate hospitality environment is an advantage
  • Previous experience working in a flexible, multi-skilled team environment is an advantage
  • Able to be a team player, with a positive and can-do attitude
  • Previous experience with Priava is an advantage
