Event Support Specialist

We invite you to contribute to the operational development of Council owned venues across the region as an Event Support Specialist.

This casual role requires you to assist in the operation of events taking place at various locations, providing exceptional customer service to event hirers, patrons and the community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting venue staff in food and beverage preparation, coffee making, bar operations and ticketing for events;
  • Setting up and packing down furniture, theming, catering, and equipment for events;
  • Completing required administration duties aligned to Front of House duties.

To be successful in this role, you will have vast hospitality and event experience, provide exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, and hold or be willing to obtain relevant certifications such as Working with Children Blue Card, RSA & First Aid certification.
