This role requires precision, safety, and teamwork as a key player in the underground mining crew. You will help hit production targets and ensure smooth operations.

Your tasks include:

  • Installing ground support per the Ground Control Management Plan
  • Boring development excavation profiles to spec
  • Installing and maintaining underground services
  • Supporting charge-up and other development tasks
  • Communicating across shifts and ensuring high-quality work
  • Leading by example in safety and environmental awareness

You will report to the Mining Shift Supervisor and work closely with stakeholders including the Underground Mine Foreman, Superintendent, Technical Services, and Surveyors.

About this opportunity:

You are experienced, safety-focused, and mechanically savvy, knowing your way around underground mining and thriving in a team environment. Bring your skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years' underground mining experience
  • Strong knowledge of mine services and safe work procedures
  • Solid communication and observation skills
  • Familiarity with JSA systems
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Supervisory experience (a bonus)
