Program Overview

This 12-month immersive graduate program is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience to excel in your chosen career. You'll work alongside experts on a range of projects and initiatives that will help you grow, develop, and progress through flexible training pathways.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Recognition of a bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification in Environmental Science, Science, or related fields.
  • Full working rights in Australia for the duration of the program.
  • The ability to work full-time and demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibilities

As a Graduate Environmental Officer, you'll conduct environmental assessments, obtain statutory approvals, and oversee environmental aspects of construction and land rehabilitation for key City assets. You'll collaborate with project managers to provide technical guidance on identifying critical environmental issues, interpreting State and Local legislation, and advising on avoidance and mitigation strategies to influence project design and ensure optimal environmental outcomes.
