Job Title: Specialist Anaesthetist Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced anaesthetist to join our team in Melbourne's east. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in airway management and sedation, as well as experience working with propofol and similar agents.

Job Description:

The successful applicant will work alongside an experienced procedural GP in a specialist, purpose-built facility. This is a locum/part-time position available 4 days per week, from 7am to 3pm. A high daily remuneration rate is offered for this role.

The role involves working with highly experienced health professionals and utilizing state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. A strong triage process is in place, ensuring the safety of ASA1 clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Consultant Anaesthetist with FANZCA or GP/Anaesthetist with JCCA qualifications
  • Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
  • Experience in the use of propofol and similar agents
  • Knowledge of ECG interpretation
  • Great IV skills
