Job Opportunity

Develop and deliver lesson plans that promote swimming skill-building in children.

  • Design engaging activities to challenge and develop students' swimming abilities.
  • Recommend level progression for students as appropriate.
  • Model effective problem-solving skills and conflict resolution techniques.

The position involves teaching swimming lessons for 48 weeks of the year, serving school groups and families in the local community.

This is a casual role with competitive hourly compensation.

About You

To succeed in this role, you must be passionate about inspiring water safety and swimming skills in children. Experience in teaching or coaching is beneficial but not necessary. Essential qualities include patience, respect, and enthusiasm.

As a swim teacher, you will empower children to develop a lifelong passion for swimming. Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating enthusiasm and passion for teaching children to swim.
  • Providing excellent customer service to parents and students.
  • Performing at a high standard and being motivated and committed.
  • Being friendly, polite, and approachable at all times.
