Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Arcare Aged Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Personal Care: Assist residents with activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining their dignity and privacy.
- Mobility Support: Help residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions, including from a bed to a wheelchair.
- Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in a resident's health or behavior, ensuring their well-being is maintained.
- Meal Assistance: Support residents with their dietary requirements, ensuring they receive the food they need and assisting them in the process of eating.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in a resident's condition on our electronic care system.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Work in collaboration with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents.
- Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
- Adaptable, passionate, and willing to learn.
- Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
- Friendly and effective communication abilities.
