As a Residential Care Worker, you will work with young people to:
- Plan and attend activities or appointments
- Support and manage their behaviors
- Use daily routines to provide hands-on training for life skills such as cooking, personal care, and budgeting
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the house
- Complete daily case notes, admin tasks, and incident reports
CYF programs operate 24/7, which includes shift work (sleepovers, weekends, and possibly awake shifts).
Requirements- Blue Card for Working with Children: You must hold a current Blue Card or be eligible to apply for one.
- NDIS Worker Screening: You must hold a current NDIS Worker Screening or be eligible to apply for one.
- Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check (LCS2): You must hold a current LCS2 or be eligible to apply for one.
- Cert 4 or Higher Qualification: You must hold or be willing to enroll in a Cert 4 or higher recognized qualification.
- Driver's Licence: You must hold a current driver's license (P2 minimum).
- Hope & Healing Modules: You must complete the Hope & Healing modules.
- Smartphone with Internet Access: You must have a smartphone with internet access.
- CPR Certificate: You must hold a current CPR certificate or be willing to obtain one.
