About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join Arcare Aged Care, a leading provider of aged care services in Australia. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the overall wellbeing of our residents.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide quality personal, social, and emotional care and support to residents in accordance with Arcare's Values.
  • Assist with activities such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
  • Help residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions, including from a bed to a wheelchair.
  • Monitor residents' health and report any changes in their condition.
  • Support residents with their dietary requirements and assist them in the process of eating.
  • Keep accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the resident's condition on eCase.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents.

Requirements

  • Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
  • Adaptable, passionate, and willing to learn.
  • Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities.
