Telecommunications Career Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Telecommunication Technician to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of telecommunications services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, testing and commissioning of fibre optic and copper cabling infrastructure
  • Leading a team of technicians and apprentices
  • Planning job methodology and solving cabling issues on site
  • Timely completion of job-related documentation
  • Excellent understanding and adherence to health and safety policies
  • Installation of enterprise IT and computer equipment
  • Maintaining technical knowledge and up-to-date with telecommunications regulations

Essential Criteria:

  • At least 2 years post-apprenticeship experience working in the telecommunications industry
  • Current ACMA Cabling Licence with endorsements of Structured and Fibre Optics
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently
  • Solid understanding of current data cabling practice
