High Voltage Cable Specialist

The role involves working with high voltage installations, cable jointing and terminating up to 33KV. Key responsibilities include installing HV substations, switchgears, transformers and earthing systems.

  • Develop job specific JSA's, conduct pre-starts and carry out safety audits
  • Plan and report work progress
  • Effective communication skills required

Required Qualifications:

  • Victorian 'A' Grade Electrical License
  • HV Termination Product Competencies or Equivalent
  • Cert III Distribution Cable Jointing (VESI) desirable
  • Construction Industry White Card
  • Full Victorian Drivers Licence
  • Current LVR & CPR
