Visual Lead

A pivotal role awaits a seasoned Artist, responsible for spearheading and mentoring a group of 2D Artists in Brisbane. This key position demands:

  • Providing guidance and direction to a talented team of artists.

  • Collaborating closely with the Art Director to foster growth and well-being within the teams and projects.
  • Cooperating with directors, managers, and development partners to define project objectives and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and train high-caliber 2D Artists.
  2. Demonstrate impressive ability in various style standards, primarily for realistic background and character art.
  3. Work seamlessly with the Art Director to drive project success.
  4. Contribute to setting project goals and implementation plans.

Requirements:

  • Exhibits strong skillset in standardizing Concept sketches with a realistic style.
  • Proficient in software like 3Dcoat or Zbrush that enhance productivity.
  • Has excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members towards collaboration.
  • Demonstrates intermediate capability to guide junior artists.
  • Well-versed in Game art: Enthusiastic about creating engaging game art with a solid understanding of AAA requirements.
