Lighting Artist Position

We are seeking a skilled Lighting Artist to join our team. This role involves creating captivating lighting setups that bring animated worlds to life.

Working closely with the art director, compositors, and other artists, you will utilize your technical expertise and artistic flair to craft visually stunning and immersive lighting environments that enhance storytelling and mood.

  • Develop and implement lighting schemes for various scenes and shots, ensuring alignment with the artistic vision and narrative of the project.
  • Collaborate with the art director, visual effects artists, and other departments to understand the visual style and requirements of each shot.

  5. Experiment with creative lighting techniques to achieve unique and captivating results.
  6. Ensure all work adheres to studio policies and guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Lighting Artist in animation, VFX, or film industry, with a focus on animated content.
  • Proficiency in lighting software such as Autodesk Maya, with a strong understanding of lighting principles and techniques.
  • Solid understanding of rendering processes and technical aspects of lighting in animation.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality lighting that enhances storytelling and visual appeal.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
