About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer to join our team in a key leadership role. As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of high-quality designs for primary high-voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical lead across all aspects of primary, civil, structural, building, and site services engineering
  • Support project delivery, including concept development and tendering phases
  • Collaborate with the wider team to provide excellence in primary engineering
  • Develop and implement high-quality designs for primary high-voltage systems
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience at a senior level with substation design and/or utility grid connections
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor others
  • Strong knowledge of Australian industry standards
  • High-level communication and stakeholder management skills
